Great in my 6BR

I recently put together a 6BR with Mauser action, 8 inch twist Shilen barrel (from Midway) and a walnut stock I made. It shoots most of the bullets I have tried pretty well (Hornady Match, Sierra Match, Berger, Nosler) but nothing as well as these Sierras. With Lapua cases, Federal Match primers and H4895 it has shot several groups just over a quarter inch at 100 yards.

Use these 80 grain bullets in a Model 788 Remington I bought in Germany in 1982. I shot 3/4" groups of 7 rounds with this bullet using Varget powder.

Great bullets in a great light rifle with 3X 9 scope.

I'm using a custom rifle. vz-24 action, shilen 26" 1-10 twist sporter barrel. 6mm Rem. caliber. I get consistent dime size groups with this bullet @ 100 yards. In the field, the first groundhog I hit was facing away from me. The bullet hit him in the back of the head at 250 yards. After inspection I found nothing of the groundhogs head other than some teeth and a little hide. This bullet is very explosive compared to other manufactured bullets I used. Hornady 75 gr. V-max comes close. Nosler 80 gr. BT's are just as accurate but not as explosive. Remington 80 gr. PLHP's don't explode like these either. I would not use this bullet on Deer size game! I'd think the wound would not be deep enough to bring down a deer. They are best used on Varmints. Varmints=5 stars Larger game=2 stars. My opinion!Jim

This is the bullet of choice for three different rifles owned by me or friends. Load this is 243WSSM, .243 Win, and 6mmRem. The most accurate bullet I've tested, and with surprising knock-down. From Prairie Dogs to Whitetails, this bullet does it all.

I shoot these in a Tikka 243 over 37.3gr IMR 4064 in Rem/Win/Fed brass with a CCI BR-2 primer. 3's-5's on any day. I use them on Yotes and the results are to say the least, devastating. The load came out of The Complete Reloading Manual for the 243. Great book from Midway. Order it too.

I used these bullets to hunt coyotes in open country. I have made clean, one-shot kills at over 300 yards with this bullet. None of the dogs I have shot have taken a step after being hit. Very predictable and repeatable accuracy from my Model 70 Coyote .243. Take care in placing shots as performance is explosive on shoulder and poorly placed shoots too far back. Overall, an economical and accurate bullet.
