The Military Surplus ALICE Magazine Pouch is designed to hold three AR-15 30-round magazines and has two side pockets that each hold a single grenade. The pouch features two standard ALICE clips on the back, and also a nylon strap with an eyelet for easy attachment to a vest or pack.

Multi purpose ALICE mag pouch

Ordered seven,only one had mag dividers removed and it was one of the two that showed use. (snaps showed brass vice black etc.) The other five looked new. Without mag dividing straps two boxes of Am Eagle 168 7.62x51mm ammo fit into pouch, and Mil standard angle head flashlight fits into grenade strap-pouch. ALICE clips allow mounting on either ALICE Backpack rigging or Pistol Belt.Loose packed over 25 2 3/4 00 buck 12ga shells with no problem. Makes for great loose ammo dump/carry pouch. Three 20 round 7.62x39mm ruger mags no problem. Not as large as a 2qt Bladder Canteen Cover, so it won't hold a Mil Mess Kit but most individual first aid kits work. Any small ALICE pouches (sewing kit with signal mirror, compass pouch etc) can be Alice clipped to the grenade strap-pouch not holding the angleheaded flashlight. This pouch can carry about anything that is the size of two boxes of 308 win ammo, let your imagination run wild. When they are on sale figure on at least two for any Mil pistol belt and at least one for any size ALICE Backpack, they are well worth it. If all seven where like new could have given 5 stars.

These will attach to either the Alice pack or Alice ruck sack. I have a survival kit in one and cut off the grenade part. The other has a small personal kit (gum, hard candy, water purification tabs, etc.A good acquisition for a CAP cadet or someone on a SAR team.

I have 2 of these which I did not buy at Midway (have had for a long, long time). The condition of the two I have is entirely different. One is very worn and the other is in good condition. I would inspect carefully upon receipt. These do not work well with the newer polymer mags as they are thicker and won't fit--I can get 2 metal mags and 1 polymer in one pouch but it is a tight fit. I don't use the grenade pockets (for obvious reasons) but I think they may be useful if you wanted to take some tool with you like a hammer loop type thing--haven't tried that. I give it 4 stars because they do exactly what they are supposed to do.

A nice little pouch to hold a couple things you'll need somewhat often. Not very big on the inside but enough.
