The Midway USA Rust and Lead Remover Gun Cleaning Cloth is more than just a simple gun cleaning cloth. This marvelous cloth was designed to work on virtually any metal surface to remove rust, tarnish, lead, and other stains. The non-abrasive cotton cloth is impregnated with a cleaning solution, and has hundreds of uses around the shop.

These cloths remove the carbon from stainless steel revolver cylinders really well and, when cut to size, really clean a barrel. I can't imagine cleaning guns without it.

After shooting any of my stainless guns, there is always resedue on the cylinder from powder and gases. This product is the best I have ever found for cleaning that resedue off and making it look new and shinny again. Fast, simple and easy to use. I even cut small patches and use them as a bore cleaner. Use what ever method works for you then when finished run a patch made of this cleaning cloth down the bore. It's amazing how well it cleans.

Works great what more can i say. It takes the carbon and lead deposits off of my cylinders with ease. It also works great cut into patches for cleaning stubborn lead from barrels.

This thing is amazing. I found an old rust covered shot gun in my parents attic a few years ago and thought i would try this cloth to see what it would do because it's so cheap. That thing was covered in surface rust and after a couple of minutes of just light cleaning my wife and i were shocked at how good the gun looked. I could just oil it and it would be fine. I'm glad i bought 2 of them.

A gun I recently purchased had some minor surface rust on the barrel, I saw this product and thought I'd give it a whirl. I had previously treated the gun with a silicone cloth and wasn't sure how this would work. Wow! I was amazed at how quickly and easily it took off the surface rust. I had read the review about how it took lots of elbow grease for it to work so I rubbed pretty hard the first few strokes, and when I stopped to check my progress I couldn't believe that almost all the rust had been removed. I can see, though, how you can easily harm a factory finish if you're not careful. Use it as directed and you won't be dissatisfied.
