The Triad Ankle Holster is a unique design which features a wraparound center compression strap that can be tightened to ensure a firm fit, holding the gun and holster in place for a consistent draw. I have carried several different hand guns in a variety of ankle holsters over the years so I am no stranger to the pros and cons of ankle carry. I bought this holster to carry my Beretta 21 Bobcat. While this holster is well made and day long comfortable, its main negative is its bullk making it difficult to conceal (even for a pistol as small at the Bobcat) unless you're wearing exceptionally large cuff loose-fitting slacks. Secondly, since the entire holster is constructed from course fabric, the holster fabric itself has a tendency to grab (hangup) on the microfiber slacks I wear. This is to say that the holster seems to grab the pant's fabric not allowing it to release when I transition from a sitting position to a standing position (like getting out of my car or even going steps). And that requires me to constantly readjust my pant leg to ensure it's adequately concealing the holster. It's a great holster if you're not too serious about concealment but I don't consider it professional grade. I suppose I'll stick with the Rusty Sherrick custom pocket holsters I have for my Bobcat and only wear this ankle holster with very loose fitting cotton fabric pants when I know I'll be sitting for long periods.

Fits the Beretta 950 ...

Fits the Beretta 950 Jetfire perfectly well. Can be worn inside leg or outside. Bulky but designed for an all day comfortable fit.

This is the second triad ...

This is the second triad Ankle holster I own. I now have a size 8 and a size 9. The size 9 I have for some time now. It has been worn about 30 or 40 times and shows no wear. My only dislike of this product is that the velcro straps that go around the lower leg are to short. They just overlap by about 1". Sometimes they open up for me. I think they should be about 2" longer and that would solve the problem. With that one exception they are great holsters.

I like it, Yes it is bulkier than other lesser priced ankle holsters... but this is a top of the line professional model that is designed for all day wear.
