I recently upgraded all cleaning rods to Tiptons. This is the perfect storage solution for me. It is positioned so that three long rods [for large and small caliber rifles and a shotgun rod] hang aside of my bench; the shorter pistol rods can hang above it. May have to buy another to take up to deer camp for use up there. Why risk damaging a top quality cleaning rod when the perfect storage solution can be had for 8 bucks?

Judging from the photo, I was 99% certain this was the item I wanted/needed to hang my Tipton cleaning rods. After all, it was made for Tipton rods.I was able to mount the rack securely to the end of my Real Organized 74"H x 48"W x 18"D Steel Freestanding Shelving Unit I purchased from Lowes. It mounted very securely with the use of two zip ties and it is THERE. I didnt want to mount it to the wall because of the damage to the wallpaper that would result. For the money, this is well worth it. It will store 6 rods and that should cover anyone's cleaning rod selection.

This is a great rack for storing your expensive rods out of the way in a safe place. The only complaint I have is it does not secure T handle rods. It has short shelves on either side of the outter two slots to sit the handles on but without any security. A bump or vibration can cause a T handle rod to slip off.
