I did not have much money ...

I did not have much money for dies after investing on a turret press. This set was bought after checking reviews and was attracted by the low, low price. I just wanted to try out a rifle passed on to me by dad. So far, have had good results on the ammo made on the dies. Accuracy is decent, allowing 2 easy kills on a deer and a coyote in a recent hunt in Wyoming. Well enough satisfied.

This is my first Lee die ...

This is my first Lee die set, having used Hornady for most of my 5 years handloading. This set is good. Lacking clear instructions, but Lee factory has good phone help. Nice groups for 100 yds shots all going into a 1.2" hole. There was some cross wind and I believe, it could have been sub-MOA had there been let-up on wind and my son bugging my concentration. Lee stuff seems good. Going to try them next for my upcoming 416 Rem Mag big game rifle.

My dad got a rifle in 7mm ...

My dad got a rifle in 7mm Mauser given by an old friend. I bought this Lee die set to load for it. I noted the neck tension was not enough to hold bullets secure. The collet sizer needed some tweaking to put correct bullet tension. I chucked the expander spindle on a lathe and used fine sand paper to carefully remove metal. This is a cut-and-try method. Neck tension now ok. This minor problem does not make the set lousy. Rewards come in sub-moa bullet groups and free shell holder.

This collet die set combined with the lee factory crimp die (Midway # 503741) will result in A+ hunting ammo. Perfect chambering and laser-like accuracy in the 7x57 cartridge; 105% satisfaction.
