The bullet that started the company, Nosler Partition Bullets feature a fully tapered jacket that ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high or low velocities.

Nosler's integral Partition supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than half the original bullet weight for deep penetration. The special crimp locks in the rear core section, adding strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums. This is not loaded ammunition.

VERY Consistent Bullet

This bullet is excellent for big game. I get 3-shot groups out of my .280 AI consistently in the .9's. That's not scary accurate, but it's still accurate enough to shoot longer range with confidence. My only criticism of it is the relatively low BC. However, the terminal effects are undeniable. This bullet will break bones, hold together and still exit. It's affordable, yet NOT a "bargain bullet." Load it and hunt with confidence! 4.5 Stars.

cutting holes @ 100yds, great bullet for a 1:9 1/2 twist 26 in barrel win 70, with 57.6 grs imr 4350. bullet made small entry and exit holes on whitetails in the past, insides look like mush, minimal meat damage, the bullet goes in & dumps its energy inside while the partion exits the other side. this has been & will continue to be my got to bullet.

The majority of the game ...

The majority of the game I have killed, ranging from desert mulies to elk, have been killed using a 160 grain Nosler Partition from a 7MM Remington Magnum. Each and every time the Partition has provided the killing power to either knock the animal off its feet or keep it from going more than 50 yards. I have also been able to get sub moa accuracy from two different 7 mags using this bullet. The kill shot that most sticks in my mind was a broad side shot at 330 yards on a cow elk; she was shot through both lungs and collapsed after walking 10 or so yards. If this bullet will shoot in your gun, use it and don't look back.

The performance of this bullet is very consistent. Nosler bullets are the only brand that I reload with. I've tried other brand but Nosler seem to respond the best for all the different cal. that I use. Keep up the good work.

Excellent penetration. Some of the best accuracy that I've gotten. It's probably excessive for deer, but it absolutely anchored the mule deer that I hit with one of these.

I've used them all. From the Sierra to the Bitterroot Bonded Core. The Nosler Partition is the most nearly perfect game bullet ever devised; and, in its present incarnation, is as accurate as any match type bullet. It never fails.

This Nosler Partition bullet gives me MOA accuracy. Bullets retrieved from long range hits perform as claimed by the factory. The front may be gone but the rear compartment remains in tact. It delivers all the energy for hard hits at great distance. My choice for elk either in 7mm or 30 cal. bullets. Have many one shot kills with both. Recall knocking two nice bulls upside down that never moved again. One at 125 yards, the other was a long way.

I was very disapointed ...

I was very disapointed when I tried to use 160 grn Barnes TSX in my Ruger #1. I couldn't group any better than a couple of inches. My remedy was to return to the Nosler Partition bullet I have trusted for years in other calibers. My first loads after the Barnes gave me a four shot group about the size of a dime @ 100 yds. I'm very happy with that kind of accuracy. I know these will work fine on game because I've nailed plenty of deer and pronghorn with my .25-06, 120 grn partition. These are bigger with more zip. I look forward to using these this fall!

Two bull elk taken in 2 years with this handloaded bullet in a 7mm Weatherby, one at 250 yards and one at 100 yards. Both elk dropped instantly with one shot. Nosler builds the best bullets on the market!

I have used only partition bullets for whitetail hunting with my 7mm Remington magnum for the last 15 years. I hunt pretty thick cover, so I sometimes need to take close range shots. Before I tried partitions, I was having problems with bullets completely disintegrating at close to mid ranges. Companies try to make a general purpose bullet that will expand in a wide range of velocities and calibers but when those bullets are used in a 7mm Remington magnum, which is one of the faster 7mms, the bullet is not built to handle that much speed. After trying a couple different brands, I gave some Nosler partitions a try. On the first deer I shot with them I was instantly impressed. It was another close shot,30 yards or so the bullet traveled through the entire length of the deer and stopped just under the skin. The animal dropped like it was struck by lightning. After recovering the bullet I weighed it and found that it still was 65% of the original. After that I was sold and have never had a problem since. To me this is the perfect hunting bullet. It expands at long ranges but still remains intact at close range and high velocity. Thanks Nosler!!
