The Primos Truth Cam 46 Infrared Digital Game Camera is perfect for the experienced game camera user or someone just getting into game scouting. This camera possesses a 50 foot night range, a trigger speed of 1.5 seconds (0.3 seconds if camera is not in sleep mode), an external LCD window that displays photo count and battery life and an extremely rugged case. It also features password protected security and the ability to adjust the resolution between 5, 3.1 and 1.3MP. The Primos Truth Cam 46 runs on 4 D batteries (not included) and supports up to 8GB SD cards (not included, card will hold approximately 200 5.0MP pictures per GB). Color pictures during day, black and white at night.

Just purchased and received two of these cameras. So far I am sold. Set up was extremely fast, and simple. The product is very solid and reliable. I am very careful choosing my equipment, and these cameras for the price, are a great buy! Great picture quality, good lighting, battery life is good for what it is, and the videos are very clear and crisp! All around a very good mid level trail cam for the Hunter/outdoorsman.My team puts our equipment to the test everyday in every environment possible. I am a firm believer in buying smart and buying quality. So far this cam has not let us down. First week out over 200 pics, and 100 videos of one of our hunting spots, and all without single complaint or problem. I will be purchasing more within the week.

I bought 2 about 6 weeks ago. I give it 3 stars only because I haven't used any other cameras and it has lots of features. For both cameras, most of the pictures and video are very good quality, but... at dawn and dusk, the images are washed out white. At night, sometimes I get all black images as if the IR didn't work. When taking pictures, it makes a "click...clunk" sound that can be heard from 20ft away. Primos says the clunk doesnt bother game, but my pictures prove otherwise. The first time the deer see it and hear the clunk, they head for the hills. Using all 46 LED scares them as well. The regulars have gotten use to it but new deer are still spooked the first couple of times. The motion sensor when set to high sensitivity is good for only about 25 ft and usually less. I have added 8gb SD cards but it will stop taking pics at 3.98gb. When the batteries reach 40%, it will stop working.

Had two of these. The camera worked fine out of the box but the first broke after 2 months and the second broke after 3 months. Also the camera is LOUD, nearly every picture of deer that they did take the deer was looking right at the camera because of the loud trigger. Some were spooked and the second and third pictures (set on 3 shot burst) the deer were running away. Cannot recommend.

This is the second camera ...

This is the second camera I have purchased. I have had the camera for over a month. First set of batteries ( Duracell ) lasted 1428 photos. Would still be going but changed due to time between visits. Day time photos are very clear. Night time photos are good for most part but some are blurry because deer jerk head up at time of photo.Not sure if camera makes noise or see the red glow of the flash. This is the reason only gave 4 stars insteed of 5. Camera has many different settings but is very easy to set up and opperate.

Got this camera about two ...

Got this camera about two months ago and initially it worked great. A trip to get the pictures a week ago yielded no new photos, except after I ran the run/wake button. Thought I messed up and set it again and came back today and... nothing. LED doesn't work, no photos, won't turn on, even with new batteries. Better register the warranty!

The camera is taking good pictures. There were a few shots that were whited out that i could not tell what was in the picture. It appears to take pictures only when triggered by animals. On other cameras I get a number of wind related pictures of nothing.

Very good quality for the price. Camera is very simple to setup and use. Takes excellent pictures if placed properly. Some trouble with washed out pictures just as the sun comes up. Would definitely buy another one.

This is one of the fastest to set up and very easy to use. We have purchased many different brands, and the Primos is by far the best and only one we will buy in the future. This one is for my wife to use. She loves the fast and easy set up. Great product!
