It cleans amazingly, lubes and does not smell bad. What more can you ask for when it comes to a gun cleaner/lubricant.

Great CLP

I've been using Froglube for about 6 months, both paste and liquid. I primarily use the paste to lube and the liquid as a cleaner, but each one can do either function. I've been impressed at how the liquid will pull tons of carbon out of bores that had a wet patch come out clean after use with a good cleaner (like Hoppes Elite). This is my primary cleaning agent for bores now, and also a great lube.

This is some great stuff. You can very easily put too much on when applying. But once your firearm is treated, it's slicker' than frog skin. And so easy to clean the next time. Plan to use on all my firearms.Support the troops give it a try "It just works" like they say

I was hesitant at first and then I made the switch after some of my friends had good things to say. Apply exactly per the instructions and stick with it. It amazing how well it works and how easy it is to clean up after a day of training or plinking. This product is ten times better than anything on the market. Froglube will put the petroleum products out of business.

Finally, a CLP that works AND is non-toxic! This stuff has made gun cleaning fun. It's nice to not have to worry about spreading carcinogens everywhere whenever I clean my guns. I only gave it four stars because it doesn't seem to be able to handle severe hard leading, but I usually stop using ammo that causes this, so it's not that big of a deal. It cleans normal fouling away as well as anything else.

I was hesitant to switch over to FrogLube from other products like Militec and WeaponShield, which are also great products. But over the last few months I've been switching my guns to FrogLube.It's got a pleasant wintergreen scent. But aside from that, FL has a bit of a "learning curve" or commitment hurdle you have to get over. In that it isn't compatible with petroleum based lubes. Also for best effectiveness, you'll need to break out a heat gun, hair dryer or put your guns in the oven, to fully season the metal.But what's great about it is, it cleans great, very slick, and it'll stay put like a grease. I'm surprised at what it would pull out of barrels and other parts that I thought were clean. If you heat it up, you'll see that it liquefies, increasing its lubricity. And then when it cools it becomes waxy. Makes it great for places like the rails.I prefer using the liquid, which is somewhat viscous for cleaning and surface coating; chamber/bore, exterior metal, bolt.While using the paste for lubing bearing surfaces: slide and frame rails, barrel lugs, bushing, guide rods. The only caveat to FL is that it can get "gummy" and cause parts to freeze in cold weather. But most lubes will have this happen if you're using too much lube. If it's been seasoned, and then wiped down, I've found that this is minimal and reliability isn't affected.
