This DPMS SASS LR-308 Barrel is fully chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO and ready to install on an upper receiver. The SASS is DPMS' top of the line barrel offering and features 1 in 10" Twist Button Rifling, a Mid-Length Gas Port, 416R Stainless Steel Construction and an attractive Black Teflon finish for corrosion resistance. The barrel is threaded 5/8"-24 for the addition of any compatible flash hider, muzzle brake or sound suppressor. The 18" Bull Barrel is fluted for increased stiffness, reduced weight, and greater surface area for faster cooling. Barrel extension and locator pin are both included and installed at the factory. Gas block NOT included.
