Stainless bristles engage the locking lug recess freeing up accumulated crud, bronze section loosens accumulated carbon build up in the chamber.

I really love this product. I am a clean freak and this brush does what is says. Cheap rounds create a lot of carbon and this little brush takes care of business. Buy at least three of them because when your friends see it they want one.

First off, the brush core is looped around the base rather than being crimped/soldered. I had a USGI chamber brush (crimped) come apart the first time I tried to use it. The brush works very well in cleaning the chamber and the barrel extension. I used 2 rod sections with a cordless drill on a slow speed setting. I would probably buy 2-3 just as extras.

I use these Dewey Chamber brushes + the Dewey Chamber brush rod for my AR15s. They work extremely well in removing the carbon out of the chambers after shooting thousands of Wolf cartridges.
