The Proforce Swedish Scout Fire Steel and Striker is a must have item for any survival kit. The magnesium alloy firesteel rod was designed by the Swedish Military to replace matches and lighters for survival use. The firesteel throws a shower of 5500 degree sparks when struck with the included striker.
