My new carbine had ...

My new carbine had occasional extraction issues with the original extractor spring. with this extra power spring my rifle has been 100% reliable. If you are having failure to extract or failure to eject issues, replace this spring first, it will likely fix the problem.

Works good, some fitting ...

Works good, some fitting was needed I had to grind this spring down and I had to take it out about 5 times and grind it to get it just right

I replaced the stock ...

I replaced the stock ground and short RRA extractor spring with the Wolff extra power spring and kept the black plastic insert.The new spring was taller and stiffer than the old spring, but provides much more powerful extraction. Instead of a straight brass mark on the deflector, I only see marks on the beginning and end of the deflector. The shells are thrown back about 9' away from the shooter towards the back and right. They fall into a neat pile but its much farther away.

I installed this spring ...

I installed this spring in my DPMS carbine after it was recommended by a friend of mine. It was a little tough to install but well worth it. The extraction is much better and the carbine runs flawlessly with any brand of ammunition I put in the carbine. I highly recommend this product.
