Great stock for the price. Big improvement over Ruger's 10/22 synthetic stock. Not stiff enough for serious target shooting, but super for hunting/plinking.

Good upgrade for the money, but also get what you pay for. Within 1st week of having installed new stock the forearm sling stud pulled lose and couldn't fix it.

The stock was easy to install but needed light sanding on the barrel channel, left side at the forend tip, to free float most of the barrel. There is another pressure point two inches in front of the receiver but that is intended, so without glass bedding the action the barrel is not fully free floated. However, I do not suspect the pressure point in front of the receiver will affect accuracy as would the strong side pressure that was found at the forend tip. While it only took a few minutes of sanding, I cannot give it five stars for that reason alone, 4.5 would be more appropriate. The magazine drops out easily and no fitting was needed anywhere else.

My grandma bought me this stock a few days ago. I ordered it on Wednesday and got it yesterday, Saturday. I haven't put rounds through it with this stock but I've shouldered it many times and with hands positioned correctly (about 3/4 down the textured area on the forearm, and on the palm swells) it becomes near- instinctive sight alignment. The cheek weld is great and the grip areas feel great. The only downsides are the clearly visible mold lines and that if your hands are even slightly wet it will make the stock very slick in that area. Overall it's a great stock for a very reasonable price.

This is a nice stock. I like it much better than the rubber stocks that Hogue makes, which everyone else seems to prefer. This stock is identical to the rubber coated versions, but is all hard nylon and has a great feel. I really do like the look of the stock too. The picture doesn't do it justice. The best thing about the stock is the fit. It fits the rifle perfectly-like a glove. That is more than I can say for 2 other more expensive 10/22 stocks I have bought recently. Although not a true target stock, it is pretty rigid and shoots on the bench well. It is the perfect stock for field carry. I am very happy with this stock. I ordered a second one recently and it was equal in quality to the first. The only downside to this stock is that it only comes in black. No big deal to me, the black looks great. For the money, this stock is hard to beat.

Great product. fits really nice. I love the floated barrel. Great designs. Another review said that the sling post pull out really easy. This concerened me. However, they seem very secure.
