This is a very nice scope ...

This is a very nice scope base. It's very reasonably priced, well made, and has some thickness to it that both gets the scope up in the air a little and makes it a very strong base. The screws supplied with it have tapered heads which make the alignment of the base very precise. Although they are listed for Savage rifles I have used them on Stevens Model 200 short action rifles and they fit just fine. I like these well enough that I have purchased four of them for short actions and one of the corresponding part number for a long action. All have worked very well.
