This model doesn't swivel and is very sturdy. I prefer this adapter over my yhm swivel adapter.

I bought this so I could ...

I bought this so I could mount a Harris bi-pod to my UTG 2-piece quad hand on my AR. Works great, mounts tight and rigid. Only problem, the base is too short for the Harris bi-pod, it does not fit flush, it rocks back & forth. I bought the Yankee Hill machine rail-mount with a much longer surface and the Harris fits perfectly & rock tight. Will use this for a sling mount on the side rail.

This is a great sling ...

This is a great sling adapter and well worth the price. However, I bought it to mount my Harris bi-pod to my new UTG quad rail, but the bi-pod does not sit flat enough to stay rigid, it rocks on this narrow adapter. I think I'll purchase the rail bi-pod adapter and mount this on the side rail for the sling. That way I can leave the sling attached while using the bi-pod. Impressed with the quality of this adapter.

Purchased as a sling ...

Purchased as a sling attachment to make my S&W M&P 15-22 better suited for an Appleseed shoot. Product is solid and meets the need.When I got my package the stud was missing from the mount. I emailed Midwest Industries explaining the situation. They sent me a new one within a few days, plus a return label to send back the original one. Really glad MI stands behind their product.

Nicely machined and ...

Nicely machined and finished. Firmly mounts on rail and accepts quick disconnect swivel. It may require application of thread locker to keep the tension screw from backing out.

I did not buy this to ...

I did not buy this to mount a sling but to mount a Harris Bipod to my new Midwest rails since the "correct" Bipod is over 250 bucks. This works great. Rock solid. Looks great. However, have ordered quick release mount for Bipod and will remove this from the bottom of my rails as it protrudes a bit too far for my taste. Just me. Midwest stuff is well made and cheaper through Midway than directly from Midwest. Happy Sniping. Semper Fi.
