Thompson Bullet Lube Company offers different formulas to meet the needs and requirements of every caster. Blue Angel is an alox-free dry, non-sticky bullet lube that is clean easy to work with, will not gum up collators, will stay in the groove during shipping and are not adversely affected by extreme temperature changes. All sticks are 1" x 4." A lube heater is required, lube will flow between 124-140 degrees Fahrenheit with a melting point of 165 degrees Fahrenheit, so it will work well in warmer climates without melting.

I found this lube much more appropriate for the hot humid conditions in Oklahoma. Other lubes get sticky at room temp here and attract dust like crazy. Get a heater and save a lot of trouble. This stuff smokes some, but as yet has not leaded the barrel. I can live with the smoke.

I have used this lube for all of my cast bullet shooting and have found it to be an outstanding product, especially in the heat we have in West Texas. When used properly with a heater on the luber and let cool, you eliminate all of the sticky residue which seems to get all over the place. Calibers were: 308 RCBS 165 SIL, 200 SIL, 38-357 RCBS 158 SWC, 180 SIL, 124 RN, 22 RCBS 55 SP, 60 SP, 38-357 Lee 148 WC.

I use this in my 357 mag loads, both pistol and rifle, with excellent results. It does not work as well for me in my other calibers. I use the NRA formula in all of my other smokeless calibers. It is a very good product for high pressure cast loadings, but does not seem to work as well with low to mid range pressure loads. It does require a heater to apply unless the air temperature is really elevated.

I've used this on everything from a .38 Special to a 30-06. I have even used it on bullets to compete. A Florida summer is not only hot, but humid. I have never had barrel leading, and that includes speeds of over 2200fps. It stays where you put it, and applies easily with just a fair amount of heat. A first rate lube.

Blue Angel is the only lube I use from .38 Spcl all the way to 45-70 and it's never let me down, not even in the scorching heat of the Mojave Desert!

I found the Blue Angel lube to be one of the best I have used. It stays hard in our Texas summers and is easy to use, provided you use a heater on your resizer. Others have softened at room temperatures, causing a mess at reloading time.

Like the other reviews say, this product does not melt in 120F+ weather and stays where you put it. It is not sticky and does not leave a mess. For best results I strongly recommend using a heater and letting it warm up for about 45 min prior to use. If you want to increase your muscle mass start using it after warming it up for only 15 min.
