The Hornady Hollow Point bullet is a bullet design featuring a hollow cavity at the point of the bullet. Upon impact, the hollow point is forced to rapidly open and expand; creating massive damage to the target. This rapid expansion results in less penetration but greater damage due to larger diameter of the now expanded bullet traveling through the target. These bullets are primarily used in hunting applications. This is not loaded ammunition.
