Product Information

These steel clips install on the side of your handgun. The clip hooks on a belt or waistband to prevent the gun from sliding down. No modifications to your gun are required.

Technical Information

Material: Steel

Finish: Blue or stainless steel depending on model

Features: allows carry of firearm without a holster. Clip secures firearm to belt. Firearm is carried inside the waistband.

Gunsmithing Required: No, however minor disassembly of firearm is required with some models.

Notes:

Model-specific clipdraws attach directly to the particular handgun.

Universal fit clipdraws - the clip mounting plate attaches to the handgun with 3M Very High Bond double-coated tape. This tape can be peeled off the frame or slide, but it has extremely high bonding strength.

Clipdraws for S&W revolvers attach with longer sideplate screws (supplied with the clipdraw). Taurus sideplate screws use a different thread than S&W, so these clipdraws will not fit Taurus.

Glock clipdraws and Universal clipdraws for semi-automatics can be mounted on the right or left side of the handgun. All other clipdraws are for right hand use/carry only.

Very easy to install, looks great and works great too. Made to go on the right side of slide but will also work on the left for use when carrying in the small of the back but it looks wrong because of the cutout needed for ejection. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because this thing will rust if you look at it funny! Must be made of high carbon steel. I wish a blackened stainless version was available.

I really like the concept, and feel fine carrying the gun in a ready condition. What sucks is the rust factor. I put mine on 12-24-2009, and only carried it around my house for a few hours. I had an undershirt on at all times, so sweat is not a factor, and I don't have "acid-hands". It's 12-27-2009, and the thing has rust pitting showing on it already. Great design, but crummy steel / finish. I'm going to have to paint it.

Ive added Clipdraw to about 5 Glock pistols over the years, I still have the 1st one I bought in 2001, I have never had any rust issues with any of mine and I live in South Florida sweating all day+I have taken it in the shower about 800X as well,I usually treat them with oil and thats it,to this day I love this product and even tho I own $175 shoulder rig holsters,Blackhawk Serpa,cheap Glock brand holsters,etc I prefer to use Clipdraw over everything,best $20 part ever invented

This part was extremely easy to install and it functions great so far. I can comfortably carry a fully loaded Glock 27 NiB-X in the wasteband of some basketball shorts with a little cotton drawstring, which is why I bought it. Just looking at the online description, I was concerned the clip wouldn't be very secure and that it may not hold my glock properly. However, it is very solid. I can't speak to long term durability, but it has worked well in its first few uses.

I have had one for years on my Glock 33. It makes the perfect concealed carry weapon. No rusting and it has kept it shape with no bending even after the use I have put it through every day. I do have to replace it but only because the back plate has gotten some play in it. A word of advice.......lock tite the screws into the back plate and then install the back plate on your Glock. Remove and install all together when needed.

This thing really is the cat's pajamas. It holds my glock 26 securely and is very easy to draw. The glock still fits inside my IWB galco holster with the clip attached, but the setup is considerably less bulky with just the clip. Also, when I bend over, with the holster in the small of the back, I can get two fingers between the grip and my back, whereas with the clip I can only snugly get 1 finger so it prints much less. Do be sure to get a Saf-T-Blok as well to keep the trigger safe as without a holster the trigger workings are all exposed

I previously had a subcompact glock that I fitted a clipdraw to. I was very pleased with its function for the time I had it. I was able to carry it so thinly and comfortably that I would about forget it was there. I was able to holster it in a kydex iwb holster if needed and the clipdraw slipped around the outside. I'm getting another sub glock and plan to order another clipdraw.

I put one of these on a Glock 27 and I love the thing. Makes the Glock feel very slim and low profile inside the waist band. It draws nice too and is secure. I highly recommend this product. Width is perhaps the most important demension in concealability and this thing keeps the carry package feeling slim.

I ordered a dozen of these for my unit Glock 19s. The pistol stays secure inside the waistband and offers a good low profile concealed carry option. At first the reaction was "cool" but upon further examination you'll see that a match box car is made out of higher quality metal than this product. The finish is terrible and will rust quickly. I think most of our guys will opt for a inside the waist holster. BTW the clip does not interfere in any of our tactical or concealed carry holsters.
