Loaded for two different 7 STW's, both rifles shot less than half inch at 100 yds. Remington Sendero shot a 3/8 inch group!! Have shot 2 deer in 1st week of deer season. Both dropped in their tracks. Awesome!

Have used these for several years in my Rem 700 7mm mag. They are plenty accurate and I have taken a good many deer with them, however, they don't seem to drop them right there. All but two of the deer I have killed have run, and the two that didn't were head shots. All of my shots have passed through, but the bullets have broken up and left splinters in the carcass. These will do a tremendous amount of damage to the insides, which is good, but if you shoot both shoulders, the meat will be damaged as well. I only shoot does in the head with these now, but on a buck, you will not always be able to pick a behind the shoulder shot. I'm sick of throwing away meat, so I'm looking for another bullet.

This is by far my favorite bullet in all calibers! I am yet to lose a deer with them. 99% of my kills have dropped dead in their tracks. The only advice I can give you with these bullets is to make sure you hit meat that you are not going to eat.

As I read some of these reviews about these bullet's damaging to much meat or the Animal running off to far, I cannot help to think, are these people using these bullets how they were designed to be used? First, I carefully load these bullets until I find the Fastest but also safest load I can get that is accurate. Speed Kills!! Second, I would only use these bullets for animals they should be used to hunt. And I would use the correct caliber for the animal I am hunting. Third, I do not shoot thru the shoulders with this bullet because it damages too much meat. Shot thru the Heart and Lung area with this bullet at a high velocity and you will not damage a bunch of meat. I loaded this bullet in a 165 grain bullet in my oldest daughters 308 and watched her shoot a 95lb. whitetail doe at 176 yard. thru the lungs and heart and the deer hit the ground in a blink of my eye. This is the best Whitetail bullet made if used how it should be used. Don't ever blame a bad shot on a bullet. Know your limitations.

I just work up a load for my best friends factory Winchester 7mm. We shot the gun at 100 yards. After the second shot I thought I missed the target. Shot it a third shot and it looked like 1 30 caliber hole. I load this bullet in my 270 wsm and in my nephews 300 win. mag with the same results. These combined technology bullets are the most accurate bullet made. They hold up at all ranges except in the 95 grain 243 for deer hunting. I do not recommend the 95 grain for deer hunting if you want an exit hole with a good blood trail. The lube lock coating keeps our barrels copper free. I cannot say enough for combined technology and there bullets. Great Job and thank you Midway for carrying these bullets and shipping them so fast. You guys are the best !!!

New review. have shot 6 deer with these. All fell with in 20 yds but one. That one was a bad shot, all were vital shots. I have found no meat damaged that I would keep. This bullet powered by IMR 7828 shoots 1.5 in groups in my Ruger M77 MKII in 7mm rem mag at 200 yds. 350 yds is longest shot so far, and it was a clean kill.

I shoot a Tikka T3 Lite ...

I shoot a Tikka T3 Lite stainless 7mm Rem Mag. With 68 grains of IMR7828, CCI primers, and Remington brass, I can punch hole after hole with these bullets at 100 yards off of a bench. After our last trip to the range, my step dad, a long time Sierra and Hornady bullet fan, decided he's going to try out the CT silvertips. As far as knock down power goes, I have taken several deer with these bullets and none of them have gone farther than one step.

I chose this round to use in a new Tikka T3 in 7mm-08. I have found this bullet to shoot extremely well. My Tikka will put 3 shots in under a 1/2 inch group at 100 yards. I haven't had the chance to take them hunting yet, so I cannot vouch for their knock down power or terminal damage. TECH TIP: If you are buying these moly coated bullets to shoot out of a used gun that has previously shot NON-moly coated bullets you have to get all the copper out of your rifling. Either have a gun smith clean it out with a solvent he already has or go buy some or your own. If you don't do this your basically coating all of that copper in your rifling with Teflon which is bad for your barrel's rifling and not fun to get out.

Shot 4 Aoudad with this bullet in 280 Rem., approx. 2850 fps. The first shot was at about 190 yards and the last shot was at 388. Accurate enough on the bench, moa and certainly performed in the field. The bullet did not seem to mushroom and give much shock effect, although upon inspection of the animals, it did significant internal damage and exit wounds, including breaking major bones. Just no knock down on these animals.
