Outstanding product, I ...

Outstanding product, I literally have a dozen scopes mounted with Talley's! This is the standard size. If you have a long action rifle you will most likely need the Talley extention bases (not these) to get optimal eye relief unless you have a very long tube on your scope.I have "standardized" using Talleys on just about all my rifles ... makes it very easy to swap scopes between guns.The Weatherby Magnum and Rem 700 bases are identical / interchangeable. Another nice thing is that I don't even have to move the rings when swapping scopes between any of my Rem 700 and Wby Mark X magnums ... gives me a lot of flexibility and allows me to carry 2 or 3 pre-sighted scopes to pop on and off depending on conditions!! The change in POI between the them is unnoticeable in the field even when removed and re-mounted several times. You must, of course, re-sight the scope when switching from one gun to another.
