Nice pouches, a bit tight for my large frame EAA Witness Match mags (which measure 1.35" X .85"). Might have to remove some material to get them loosen up a bit.Openings in pouches measures about 1.35" x .90", but it tightens up a bit at the bottom. These should be good for mags ~1.30" long. The adjustment screw works decently, but you can also remove some plastic from the upper stud to tighten them up, or shim the lower stud to make them a bit fatter. The only critical dimension is the 1.30" measurement - any larger and you'll run into interference issues like me.For the money, they'll do just fine...

Great for competition... horrible for carry. I bought two of these for my Berettas (96 & M9). You can definitely draw fast from these, however, your mags will rattle around like golf balls in a bucket. You can use the retention screw, but by the time you screw it tight enough to eliminate the rattle, it then takes a bit of force to pull mags out.I am considering gluing a cloth liner inside to dampen the rattle.

I have had great results ...

I have had great results when used with my wifes XDM9 and my Sig 226 in 9MM. I have used the adjustment screw to fine tune the tension. For carry it is nice to snug up the tension a little bit. For competion I like it a little looser. I have also found that a small set screw will fit inside the adjustment stud to lock the adjustment screw in place. The hex socket screws are available at most hardware stores. I don't remember the exact size.

XD9 magazines rattle ...

XD9 magazines rattle around, no way to adjust for a tight fit. Returning to Midway for a different brand.

These pouches worked ...

These pouches worked great for my son and myself. We shoot USPSA matches with a production 40 Cal Sig 229 and our mags fit perfectly in the pouches. We were able to get the mags to fit with the right amount of snugness for easy draw and no rattling when walking or running.

Too loose to secure XD9 ...

Too loose to secure XD9 mags, tension screw does not loosen or tighten pouch. Back threaded portion just spins and no way to hold it to tighten. I ended up adding self stick Velcro inside to add thickness to inner pouch and reduce rattle. I should have just returned it, but too much of a hassle. Glad I only bought one. I'll try another brand next.

Ruger double stack 9mm ...

Ruger double stack 9mm magazines (for P89, P93, P95, PC9) fall out of this pouch. The adjustment screw turns but doesn't change the spacing. I am exchanging it for another brand.

This holds my poly magazines fine, but it is too big for metal mags. Metal mags are not gripped at all, no matter how much I adjust the screws they just rattle around.

Does not do as ...

Does not do as advertised. Does NOT fit SW M&P 40.357 factory mags. Pouch is too wide AND too long / thick; rocking side to side, & front to back. Horrible fit. I'll be returning for a blade-tech. Unable to tighten, and they fall right out; no contact with pouch on any side. WAY too big. Maybe Glock mags would fit?
