Although many people sing praise to these dies, I have had nothing but problems with my sizing / depriming die.. All the other dies in the kit are fine but the resizing die is just poorly constructed, whether its related to poor quality of the construction or untrue production.. Hard for me to say.. but I ordered these dies about 6 weeks ago.. Have had them for about 5 weeks or so now and have already returned the sizing die once to lee.. They sent me a new one and on the first casing I attempted I used my Hornady One Shot case lube on it , as soon as the sizing portion of the die hit the shell, it started to make the press chatter.. I removed pressure from the press handle and wiped all of the one shot off, then re-applied the Lee Case Lube, with my fingers on the exterior and a cotton swab on the interior of the case.. put it back in the shell holder and gave it hell.. went into the die without a hitch, when I went to extract the now sized / deprimed case the press handle wouldnt move.. Oh here we go again I thought to myself, tried a little more pressure nothing, a little more nothing.. Finally I gave it my all, and it just folded the bottom of the case mouth right over.. Same as last time .. So again I am going to have to send this die back to lee and hope that maybe they could send me a functioning sizing die for this cartridge.. If your looking to avoid the headache I would strongly recommend you do some research on the other available dies for this cartridge. Only way I would risk buying these dies over again, would be if no one, and I mean no one had them in stock.. Even still its bound to be more of a headache then its worth.. Dont let this review completely deter you, as I have spoken to just as many people on the .50beowulf forums that have had success with their Lee dies along with those with not such luck.. Its pretty much a 50/50 and if you have the time and money it may be a risk your willing to take.. I would advise going to www.50beowulf.com and l

Completed my first 100 rounds with brand new casings, zero issues. Shot twenty rounds and brought my casings home to run through the media polisher. I went to de-prime and re-size and could not get the first casing more than a quarter length in the die. I knew ahead of time what others had posted here and used my old stand-by.

Turtle Wax Ice paste wax, just like you use on your car. Lightly coated the twenty casing with my finger and by the time I got to number twenty, the first casing waxed had dried with a light haze. Re-sized and de-primed effortlessly. No need for anything fancy from the gun store, just off the shelf wax; one can should last for years.

Fit and finnish is good and they function as they should. Buy with confidence. I use RCBS dies for all my other calibers. Since RCBS didn't offer any at the time I went with Lee, no compromise really. I'd buy lee dies again.

My first 100 rounds are flawless, just got to watch how much belling you do on this round, just enough to start to seat the bullet. I have used lee dies prior and no issues, to start reloading these are great and inexpensive.

I love these dies I have them in 9, 40, 357 and 50 Beowulf in the notes it said no need to lube case well I found that it makes it much easier if u use lube. One more little note DO NOT USE A LOT OF CRIMP it cusses bulging that will make the brass jam in your receiver.

Dies work flawlessly. Use lots of lube to re-size, liquid kind works great. put brass in a poly bag, spray it till it looks wet and roll it around to coat everything. let it dry and it's GTG.

Although one person had trouble with the sizer, it appears the rest of us aren't. I used Hornady One-shot liberally just in case, and had no stuck/mutilated brass. These aren't carbide dies, so remember lube is cheap and easy to remove!

Dies function great on my Redding T7 press. Easy to use. Loading 350 gr Hornady bullets and some Hodgdon 110, the rounds accuracy is about 1" at 80yds. Will buy more Lee dies.
