I have used this type of target for years and it is the most popular target on my range due to the ability to easily see each hit on the target. Several reviewers talked about getting this target in black, but mine were orange like I have always gotten. May not use the heaviest paper, but I have never had any problems keeping them on my target stands and the price is very hard to beat.

Ive used these targets for years and these are among my favorites in both Oarnge and in a few cases the black ones.These show to be Oarnge wich I prefer but with the black lines if your using a low power scope then aim for the Bullseye instead of the black box and also if using a scope under 18x minimum you should really have a spotting scope if you dont want to walk a lot anyway.I use mostly 18x & 24x scopes but even so my 2 spotting scopes are both 20-60X for when I want to see precisely where my bullet isAmong my favorite targetsRemMax

I've used these targets for years. Whether they are orange or black. Aim your crosshairs 1/2 inch lower so your crosshair lays on the black or orange squares, then all you need to do worry about windage. I've shot alot of tight groups using this method. Just remember your point of aim and what you want your rifle to be sighted in for.

Seeing they're the same ...

Seeing they're the same color, it's difficult to align black scope crosshairs against the non-contrasting black 1" lines. A hit from a small caliber bullet like a .22/,17 can't be seen in the black 1" squares without a spotting scope above 24 power. They should have left this target in the original colors of red/orange squares and 1" lines.

These targets are now all black, offering no contrast to the crosshairs as they did when they were all bright orange. I will switch to another target.
