Great product! Fit and ...

Great product! Fit and finish are superb. This is the perfect set-up if you want to add a FastFire sight to your 336. It allows you to keep a perfect low cheek-weld/head position. Forget the quick-detach weaver-style mount...that kind places the sight a little too high (it still works, just not as well, plus you have to take it off to use your irons). I also recommend mounting it in the forward screw hole position...that way you can still add a pair of XS ghost ring sights, and still use the irons with the FastFire mounted (it obstructs the lower 1/2 of the ghost ring, but you use the top of the post anyway).
