I bought this to find the ...

I bought this to find the rock-bottom cheapest way to finish out my CMMG .22 upper, and it is perfect. At least as good as any A-2 upper sights I have worked with. Popped it on and I was zapping cans from 25-100 yards with no adjustments.

I would advise others to ...

I would advise others to spend a little more and get a better part. The handle itself is fine, there isn't much difference from others I've owned other than some sections of the metal that have mild cosmetic deformities in the surface. The sight however was disappointing. The finish was sloppy, the mechanism was not smooth, and it doesn't seem to be a very well made part. The knob itself is canted compared to the side of the sight. If you are looking for absolute bottom price regardless of quality you might like this. Since I pay for my ammo and want it to go where I aim this will go in a toolbox somewhere and I will use a better quality rear sight.

I found the fit and ...

I found the fit and finish of this item to be perfectly acceptable. It attached to my flat top AR very securely. The finish is the same matt black as the rest of the rife, allowing it to blend in as if it came with it. The adjustment knobs click into place positively without any slop. Compared to the cost of other models, I really dont think you can wrong with this one, it is more than adequate for what the vast majority of us will ever do with it.

The only reason this gets a star is that Midway has great service but the item itself is very cheap, looks like it's for air soft not a real firearm...! And I thought utg was bad mako was worst.... save up your money and get the real deal!
