There is no downside to ...

There is no downside to this pellet. It is consistently accurate, gives good velocity, is clean, well-formed and without seams or deformation. I measure the downrange velocity of every pellet I test as well as at the muzzle. By comparing the different velocities recorded, I have developed a "performance factor" for each pellet that allows it to be compared to any other tested pellet for how well it maintains its velocity and energy downrange. The RWS Superdome is the second best performer of the 15 .177 cal. pellets recorded thus far. It has a little more weight than a standard pellet so it has some energy advantage without giving up much in velocity. I have had excellent results on the Squirrels that used to raid my bird feeders and I am ready when a new-comer arrives.

I have an RWS 34 with a ...

I have an RWS 34 with a 3x9x32 scope. With these pellets from a bench rest, the rifle/pellet combo will shoot through virtually the same hole! I have a target saved that has a .29" 5 shot group at 50'.If you have a magnum rated rifle (1200FPS+), the crossman 10.5 grain ultra magnum is the right choice. Very similar to this pellet design, just a bit heavier which equates to significant energy gains in magnum rifles. It seems to be just as accurate too!

These pellets have ...

These pellets have amazing consistency for being non-match grade. Five (5) shots from my RWS M-34 open sight airgun across my PACT chronograph gave an average velocity of 873.6 fps, an extreme spread of only 8.5 fps, a standard deviation of 3.6 fps, and an avg deviation of only 2.9 fps. Compared to another five (5) shots from the same rifle across the chronograph within 5 minutes of each other of the RWS match grade Meisterkugeln pellets, the Superdome had a 15 to 20% LESS standard and average deviation in velocity. Less deviation equates directly to better grouping. Now, if my eyes were only up to the challenge of shooting this non-match grade gun to its potential .

Super accurate, amazing stopping power, and all for a good price. I use a Gamo shadow 1000 and at 20yd. I get less than half inch groups.

Outstanding accuracy, ...

Outstanding accuracy, plus the skirt is not so fragile that it is easily deformed. They absolutely destroy pests, and the price is right. Definitely on my top three airgun pellet list.
