Simple and easy to use. Works best with a cordless drill. I tried a T Handle first, nowhere near as fast as the cordless drill.

I am very happy with this tool. Very easy to use. You need a "T" handle from a tap & die set. The tool pays for itself with one job. I have a 338 Win Mag that had a bad nick on the crown and the accuracy of the rifle was terrible (4-5 inch grouping @ 100 yds). It took me all of 5-10 mins to put a clean 11 degree crown on the barrel. I polished it with emery cloth and then used a bluing pen to finish the job. Took the rifle to the range and it's shooting 1.25" groupings now. I'm happy.

I am a complete novice and I had a real easy time with this tool. I cut a beautiful crown in a mauser barrel I had cut down for sporter project, and this item worked just great, with a very smooth result, it looked like a pro did it. Im tickled pink!

A little cutting oil and ...

A little cutting oil and a inch cordless drill was all it took to make a beautiful new crown on a shortened Mosin-Nagant with this cutter.
