Wow! You know why they ...

Wow! You know why they often say one size fits most? Because of me. I have a rather large head. Like 7 3/4 to 8 in a fitted hat. Not only that but it is tall. It is incredibly difficult to find any hat that doesn't make me look like Mr. Potato Head. Based on the reviews and the $4.99 price, I figured that at worst I'd be giving away yet another hat that fits most but me. When I took it out of the box the first thing I noticed was the Velcro strap. It is the strap on one side/loop on the other as opposed to the strap on both sides meeting in the middle type. It has "MidwayUSA" embroidered on the lone strap. Looks very nice but it makes the strap less flexible. I thought there would be no way that I would be able to bend that embroidered strap over/through the loop and expect it to hold right. I didn't even bother to pull the Velcro apart to make the usual maximum adjustment. Threw her on and...IT FITS PERFECT! Ran to the mirror fully expecting it to be all distorted and stretched.Wow! Looks great too. Now that I've got a hat that actually fits, I took a closer look. I like the no-button top very much. The mesh is soft and flexible not cheese graterish and rigid. Feels great! Midway really should take more pictures of these. There are lots of details not shown in the one photo. Besides the "MidwayUSA" on the strap there is "JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING" on the mesh above the strap. "Since 1977" on the right side of the bill. "MIDWAYUSA.COM" on the very front of the bill. And the label inside is sewn all the way around not just at the top.Sorry, I didn't mean to write a dang novel here but I really am that happy with it. Heck color me duly impressed and satisfied for the amazingly low price of five bucks. Honestly, I'd still be happy if I paid $15 or more. I'll get one with every order from here on out if they stick with the same manufacturer. A quality hat at an incredible price. Great stuff Midway!!!

I was really surprised at this hat! The mesh back portion has acted as a mild venting - my shooting glasses no longer fog up. It has the classic Midway USA logo we've all come to know & love, and the price couldn't be beat. I'm buying two more...

Nice hat. Looks good. Only problem is that the velcro adjustment barely holds on if you wear a size XL hat. If you wear an XL, there is a lot of velcro exposed.
