This Quiet Control muzzle brake is cut from solid 304 stainless steel bar stock. In order to help reduce felt recoil, muzzle rise and noise heard by the shooter a system of ports have been machined on this muzzle brake.

Great brake except you as ...

Great brake except you as the shooter better have ear plugs in. My ears rang for several days on one shot. I had a coyote come in fast and furious, and as it turned and ran I shot several times and actually had slight bleeding in my ears. Accuracy wise and follow up shots are perfect, of course.

The fit, finish & ...

The fit, finish & functionality of this product is excellent. The only problem I had with the brake was the timing washers were a little loose and sloppy, but other than that it's an awesome muzzle brake.

At the current time 6.8 ...

At the current time 6.8 SPC brakes are rare. I installed this brake on a medium range sniper "hunting" AR-15 platform. It has a 24' fluted heavy barrel, w/a 10x40x43mm Scope. The brake's factory compensating ports are clocked at approximately 1:30 which is excellent for this platform. Although I have mine clocked at almost 2:00. The brake adds to the 6.8's already complementary minimum recoil. During and after your shot, you never lose sight of your target. At 100 yds I'm able to hold 1/4 inch groups. It will be hard to find a better brake. I will repost when I try it at 500yrds. Good job guys.
