Nosler Custom Brass was developed to complement their line of custom bullets. Each lot is weight-sorted to provide consistent measurements and capacities for accurate loads and features a Nosler head-stamp. Before shipment, Nosler chamfers and deburrs the case mouths and deburrs the flash hole. Fully prepped and ready to load upon receipt, each piece of brass offers consistency in trimmed length and neck wall thickness. This brass is new and unprimed. This is not loaded ammunition.

I just recieved my 243 nosler brass out of 50 one was out of round at the mouth. Other wise the rest was perfect I resized the one and it is perfect now. I have not loaded or shot them yet.

This brass is really no ...

This brass is really no better than the lower priced Remington and Winchester. Seems to be about the same weight varience. But the worst part is the whole lot only measured 2.028 COL..? Most manuals use a trim length of 2.035.. and most chambers are anywhere from .030 to .050 longer than specs. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Well after competing with ...

Well after competing with people buying whole lots of Norma/Lapua brass and then seeing the out of stock label with no more available for six months it was time for a change. Nosler brass seems to very consistent (a 0.9 grain difference over 100 rounds) and is heavier than some other brass like Winchester or Remington so overall case capacity is slightly less. I use this in my 243 Winchester which has a wide range of bullet weights and powder types which means brass has to be strong and this brass seems very durable. I reload for accuracy and not maximum velocity/pressure and have not had any problems after 6 reloads. I do think, however, the brass will not fail first but rather the primer pockets may become loose. I use CCI BR2 large rifle match primers and they seem to go into the primer pockets easier than others and may end up becoming loose faster (just observation without actually testing this theory). One thing that has really helped is obtaining a Micrometer that determines case head spacing to be used with my full length sizing die which I use the first time for reloading. With brass that is thicker than most not setting the case head tolerance properly can lead to crushing which could impact case longevity.

Nosler brass is not worth ...

Nosler brass is not worth the money. Weight variation of the 50 cases I checked was 1.2 grains. Of those 50 cases, the primer unseated upon firing in 6 loads. These were not hot loads. I contacted Nosler on their web page and received no reply. For the record, I've never had this happen before with Winchester or Federal brass.

Weighed one box of 50 pcs. brass. Total spread was 0.8 grains. This is about half of Lapua and 20% of Winchester. Have not loaded and shot it yet so I can't comment on that.

I have ordered six boxes on three different orders. This brass is wonderful. I have loaded hundreds of this brass and fired it. Very little stretch on any cases. No problems with primers. This brass is very strong and consistent. Well worth the price.
