These Wiley X Romer II ...

These Wiley X Romer II glasses are my absolute favorite hands down. I love the perfect frame-to-face fit, at least for me. The wrap around lenses are free from distortion, which my eyes are very sensitive to. If there were even the slightest distortion, I wouldn't even bother with them. I have a couple pairs already, one with smoke lenses in my car for driving, one with clear lenses in my machine shop for eye protection, and I'm just about to purchase another pair for shooting. Yeah, I could just swap out the lenses, but I prefer to save the time and fingerprints and just have multiple pairs and I use the extra lenses as replacements after I scratch them up after a while of rough use.For those of you who have trouble switching between lenses which I fully agree can be a pain sometimes, try this: Removing the old lenses, start from the bottom of the frame towards the nose. After that they come out easily. The lenses pop out in the opposite direction of the eyes (outward). Reinstall is exactly the reverse. Start from the outer frame corner, working around the top and pop in the bottom last. The MOST important thing to do before trying to put in new lenses is to lightly deburr the edges of the new lenses. I found that the new lenses have sharp edges and strongly resist assembly without damaging the frames. Simply take an X-acto or other razor blade and scrape a light chamfer around the edges and PRESTO! Easy insertion! That also makes removal easier if you prefer to switch between lenses.
