Have had these for a few months now, and while they still work, the edges are getting rather ragged. Will only feed or eject from the gun with near blow-back force. Have had some failure to feed issues, but they resulted from a slow manual cycle, and I have never experienced a feed issue from slamming the slide from the locked position. Going to try the brass based dummy rounds and see how they hold up after repeated battery testing.

Best dummy rounds I have used. No feeding issues or anything. Only one problem...If you use them a lot, the soft aluminum gets cut/deformed and can start having issues with ejecting. Never an issue with feeding, but some of older ones have major issues with ejecting. But still better than the other couple brands I have tried.

I practice dry firing on ...

I practice dry firing on a regular schedule, 5 times a week. A set of 10 has lasted three months before looking really rough, but they still cycle fine. I'm using these in two Springfield Guns, an XD and a 1911. I have zero complaints. I'm actually happy they won't last forever, which means they are on the losing end of the metal on metal wear using them in my gun and maybe my gun can last a little longer because of it.

The aluminum case rim is ...

The aluminum case rim is not strong enough to withstand repeated ejections from the gun. I have had both brass based and these aluminum style snap caps and the brass base ones hold up much better.

Have had these for a few weeks now, and while they are one solid piece of aluminum, their fit and finish doesnt hold up well to repeated use. Even after only a few weeks the paint has chiped off anywhere that the round meets steel, and the casing rim has started to chip a little on every round. Failure to eject is the only serious issue I have had so far.

Works great in my .45ACP ...

Works great in my .45ACP revolver. Most other snap caps aren't dimensionally correct, and are not as durably constructed.These fit well into moon clips, and last for thousands of snaps of dry practice without apparent damage.
