Detachable sights are a great option to back-up or cowitness with optics. This GG&G sight comes either as a standard flip-up with a locking detent or as a spring-actuated flip-up with locking detent. The detent release is located on the left hand side so the off hand has quick and easy access to let the sight down.

I have had this sight for ...

I have had this sight for a few years now and just thought to add a review. Flips up with push of a button and locks. Holds zero well enough to hit large coffee cans around 350yds with Matech rear sight on a LaRue 20" Stealth if I can see the cans. Strongly considering buying for second rifle.

Stays down til you push ...

Stays down til you push the button, then pops up instantly. Stays locked until you push the button. Sold, reliable, nice. I have two and would buy again.

The GG&G flip up front ...

The GG&G flip up front sight is highly recommended. I have several of their sights both front and rear mounted on AR rifles. The new flip up version works like a charm on my patrol rifle, just push the button and it locks into place without having to worry about it collapsing.
