KNS Precision "cross hair" type front sights offer the shooter a front sight that covers less of the target at longer ranges. The .240 diameter CNC machined blackened brass housing offers a large, bright field of view. Standard sights have a .082 long housing. Cross hairs are heat-treated beryllium wire .010 in diameter. Duplex thick section is .020 diameter. Matte.

Though neither the AK nor the SKS is a tack driver, this cross-hair front sight is a vast improvement in sighting over the fat front blade that comes on the gun originally. Some of the crosshair sights however, are a little difficult to see if you get the fine crosshair model. If you get one of these for the AR-15, you may want to check out the "B. Jones" rear sight as well. It has a lense in the rear sight that will allow easier and clearer viewing of the front sight without squinting.

Front sight did not fit in front sight hood access hole for my Russian SKS. I had to drill bigger. Needed a front sight tool.

great product, makes it easy to aim with an Ak47, so easy it feels like i am cheating!!! great solid product .. i gave it 4 stars because i wish it was longer because in order to anchor it you need to screw it in deep. it needs 5 more turns to be 5 stars.

I understand that this is a great sight. which is why I gave it a 2 and not a 1. The first day I tried to sight it in on my wasr-10, the Y axis vibrated out of its spot, making it utterly useless. I would have gave it a 3 if it would of lasted more than 100 shots.

I know it looks cool, but it is simply junk. I bought 3 after reading the reviews. I thought I'd try it out, thinking it would work for me better than the others who rated it so low. I used it with a Saiga AK-47 and 2 Arsenal AK-47s. Don't plan on adjusting it too far to the left or right, as it will be stopped by the curvy aperture posts in the front of the AK. I hope you don't have to adjust it too high, as it will start coming out with every shot you make. It gets so loose you can easily twist it with your fingers. You won't be able to see the cross-hairs past 75 yards unless you have teenage eyes. I can't believe they are actually charging almost $30 for this thing. $10-15 is more like it. Yes, it looks cool, but an actual sight post will be better.

This sight works well for me. Looks like I am going to have to hit it with a drop of loctite to make it hold steady in the spot I have it, as it doesn't have the split expanded threads like the original. Other than that, it was a snap to install and get adjusted where I wanted it.

Just so some do not waste time and money, this will not fit Norinco SKS. It will not fit through the sight opening to screw in - it is too large. May fit on others, like AKs, fine.

I doesnt fit through the sight guard of my Yugo SKS, but it did fit well on my SAR-1 AK-47. I like the concept of this sight and it works very well on my AR15. I wanted one on each of my rifles and it's too bad the SKS can't have one.

Good little sight, fit correctly into my MAK-90, wires are a bit flimsy, but they kind of have to be.
