This item is 1 inch high (25 mm). That's important if you're thinking about scope rings and scope height. It fits a flat-top AR-15 very nicely. The screws are plenty strong if you use your fingers and not a pipe wrench to tighten it.

Bought one for my flat top RRA with 24" barrel.Unit was not square. That is, when mounted, my scope used virtually all of its right adjustment to bring the groups to center.Removed it, inspected it, re-installed it, tried everything I could think of to find the problem. Then replaced it with another (non UTG) riser and problem solved. Riser looks good, nice appearance and finish, just not square.Roger

Good, solid fit. Works fine. I don't have any fixed sights on my DPMS AR-15 so I can't evaluate how they would work this this attached to the top rail. I do like the height of the scope(s) now.

Good product, especially considering how reasonably it's priced. FWIW, I used it on a Beretta CX-$ to mount a Burris Fastfire optic. Worked just perfect. It's probably a bit more than I needed, but life goes on.

Great quality for the price! Mounted on a flattop AR-15 very solid! Perfect height to clear front sight. Not bulky! Have had no problems. Would recommend product.

I found this superior than most. I felt this was the correct length and height. Many of the risers are too short. Watch for the short risers. Also, boresight this first and it is not always best to put the knobs on right. Left might put scope closer to center.

Overall the product looks good. But be warned if you have a BUIS (back up iron sight) rear installed, there is not enough room left on flattops to install this product. If you have rails extending onto your forearm it will work. My Dept. only allows optics modifications so alas, I will be returnig what looks to be a good product.

Will not attach securely ...

Will not attach securely to the Alexander Arms upper I bought it for. Kept shooting loose, so I used pliers to tighten it on two different occasions. Stripped the rear "thumb nut" the last time. It's rather difficult to do load development/accuracy testing when your scope mount riser keeps coming loose. Looks like I got what I paid for... Junk.

This worked as represented. Excellent quality, perfect fit and excellent finish. The height worked well on a Daewoo DR-200 and the iron sights line up as they should in the see-thru mount. It is my second Leapers product and I like quality products at a reasonable price.
