This product should come ...

This product should come with shims. My Kimber Stainless dates from 2001, so maybe the rear sight cut is slightly different. Anyway, my Fastfire shoots way too low. I'm out of adjustment, and I can just barely get enough elevation to put a 230gn bullet on target at 15m or so. The Bomar and Kimber dovetail blocks are the same height, so it's not as if stoning down the Bomar dovetail to fit is going to help. JPoint offer shims for their sight.

Good mount. The fit was ...

Good mount. The fit was very tight, to tight. I had to lightly file the dovetail key that fits into sight groove to get it to fit. But it is better to be too tight than too loose. Holds POA well but the dot on the sight is too bright in some conditions. (full sun)

The supplied kimber ...

The supplied kimber dovetail key was a loose fit so I filed down Bomar key for a tighter fit. The supplied screws for the Red Dot were not oval head screws but std Torx 6-40 scope mount screws. Will have to see how durable mount and sight are. They are mounted on a 460 Rowland Kimber.
