These compact low profile sights are lightweight, strong and rustproof with positive windage and elevation locks. In most cases the sight utilizes the dovetail or existing screws on top of the receiver for installation.

easy to install and easy to use.

I installed this on my H&R 357 Magnum, replacing the open sights. It screwed right on in the rear scope mount holes with the included screws. It works perfectly with the existing front sight and is allowing me to shoot much better than I could with the factory (also Williams) open rear sight. No problems at all and I recommend it highly.

This is a great improvement over the factory sights. It allows for windage and elevation and is very visible. I was able to shoot much better groups with my .44 Mag Handi-Rifle. It is made of durable aluminum and the aperture is steel and is replaceable if you want a different size. The price isn't bad either.

I set up a new H&R youth ...

I set up a new H&R youth model handi-rifle in .223 to start my grandson's rifle training. A phone call to Williams Gunsight was answered promptly by a knowledgable person, who gave me the correct part numbers over the phone. They asked for receiver diameter and barrel diameter at the front sight mounting screw location.I ordered the parts from Midway. Everything fit and worked fine.I replaced the existing williams open sight at mid-barrel with the williams WGRS aperture receiver sight. It gives a longer sight radius, thus better accuracy. The existing front post sight was replaced with a williams ramp and firesight bead.An aperture rear sight trains proper head position almost automatically. As expected, the result was a young beginner rifle shooter having immediate success.Several apertures are available, giving much flexibility. I start "both eyes open" training without an aperture in place, and work up to the 0.092" twilight aperture.This is the best non-optical sight system I have found. It is especially good for teaching a beginning shooter.Kudos to Williams and Midway.
