Product Information

These beautiful Virgin Valley bases are CNC machined from solid alloy steel stock and are provided with 6 mounting holes. These bases will attach perfectly to the factory 4-hole barrel but the extra holes allow shooters additional flexibility when mounting extra long or short scopes. The ability to add two additional screws also makes the Virgin Valley base the natural choice for the heavier recoiling calibers. These bases are designed for Weaver style rings and can accept up to 3 rings (2 slots in front, 1 rear) for extra support.

  • Stratton Custom Encore and Contender bases are identical except for the radius cut for the barrel. Contender barrels are .810" diameter and Encore barrels are 1.00" diameter. The top portion of the bases where the rings attach are identical, so a scope and rings could be moved from an Encore to a Contender without adjusting ring spacing.
