The Plano Gun Guard AW All Weather Series 52" Double Rifle Gun Case has a rugged thick-wall construction with a weather tight Dri-Loc seal. The spring assisted dual-stage latches make it easy to access your gun cradled in the high-density pluck foam. Other features include the over molded handle and a pressrure release valve.

This case is a good option for a storage case and range case if you do not want or need to spend the money on a Pelican. I would not use for airlines. It secures the gun very well and the latches work perfect, plenty of protection. As stated before the hinge pins will fall out, a bit of epoxy on each end of each pin solves this problem but still will not make them as secure as a Pelican.Over all a great case but the Pelican 1750 is what I will buy it for my next gun.

Midway was great. I got my case and ammunition early. The case though was somewhat disappointing. It's sturdy enough and well-padded. Two scoped .308s fit fine plus a couple boxes of ammunition. Unfortunately the first time I stood it up one of the clasp hinge pins fell on the floor. Anyone with the right size steel rod could open this case regardless of lock in less than a minute. I'll seal them in before my trip but this is not a secure case as sold.
