I use these for 40 only. They work great, the shells are a little loose but you don't have to dig them out this way. A much better alternative to digging in the trash for discarded boxes or trying to reuse the factory ammo boxes. Plus they are very easy to mark with what's inside exactly. They tend to hold up longer than factory cardboard.

These are fine for 45 LC but for 40 and 357 sig they are too loose in the tray and the box is too tall to hold that ammo in well. For 45 ACP the trays are perfect but the boxes are too long. Was quite disappointed since for 223 and 38 super this line of boxes are great.

I picked up a case of these as well as some in 9MM and 38/357 and all work as advertised......I wasn't having a lot of luck with the plastic cases (had a couple of lids snap off) and these fit the bill perfectly.....cheap and functional....

I am on my 2nd box of 25. They work good, and tend to hold up. My .40 S&W is a little loose in the tray, but I knew that when I read it would hold .45 cal. ammo. They are cheap on price, which makes it nice to have these around. I reload for my brother and some friends and these are better than handing them a bag of bullets. They can be used many times depending on how hard they are used. You can write on the box or make tags to put on it. They are not perfect, but for what they are, they are good.

The boxes received were in very good condition due to effective packaging. When combined with plastic or foam trays they are very strong and durable. The product material makes it very easy to right on with pen or marker or even put labels on. I am a type 07 FFL that also sells reloaded ammunition and these are the boxes I go to when packing my own products.

Use these for 45 ACP. Fit is near perfect. They are a bit big, leaving lots of room between the cartridges and less in your ammo bag.

I have used this box for 45ACP only so far. True they are somewhat larger than a factory box and for book Max. OAL they are a little short but then none of my 1911s will chamber Max. OAL anyway .. they hang up in the mags, so that is not a problem for me. The material is heavier than factory and the flaps fit so tight I have had to tap them on my bench to get them to close completely. If I intend to use the box again, I slide a small knife blade in the end and pop the box open. Otherwise the flap could get torn. I have had the same problem with factory boxes. Peal and stick reloaders labels (or masking tape or small mail labels) work great for identification. All in all, with a little thought, they work just fine for me and should allow me to reuse them several times.

I have used these for .40 S&W and .45 ACP and they work well for both. I have yet to have any of the .45 ACPs fall out of the tray when turned over (upside down). For the price you can't beat them!!

I have yet to use these for anything but .45 ACP, and they work very well for me and the loads I create up to 1.25" OAL regardless of bullet profile. The ends fold into the box very snug, and I've really got no complaints. The loaded cartridges don't move around at all in the foam and the boxes are of commensurate quality when compared to factory ammo. The foam may be a smidge big for .40S&W or 10mm, but for .45, they're great, and as mentioned by others, better than digging through the trash.

I was wanting a product like this. I read a review that the CB-08 boxes were too tall for .45 acp and if you look at the published measurements that's right. So I took a look at the CB-07 which is not advertised for .45 acp but the CB-07 should work great. I called customer service and they agreed with me (in theory) and said if they didn't work, I could return them for a full refund. I bought the CB-07 for 45 acp and they are perfect.
