CHOOSING RINGS: Ring height is determined by measuring the outside objective (bell) diameter of your scope. If you aren't sure which rings will suit your needs, please refer to the Ring Height Application Chart.

These are the best rings on the market. They are simple, strong and look fantastic. Everybody I talk into buying these rings, love them. I wouldn't buy anything else. Get the low ones; they'll handle most 40 mm objective and get the sight low over the bore where it's supposed to be to point like a shotgun..

I bought these after considering WARNE Maxima rings in which I am sorry I did not go with WARNE. I have to be honest I am very disappointed with Burris in that they are still being cheap on their screws. The torx screws which clamp the scope down the provided wrench does not fit. Also the main screw which tightens the base of the ring to the base of the scope mount. The screw is a strait screw this is un-called for being you are required to apply force to tighten this screw down the rail. And unless you have a special flat screwdriver after 1 or 2 removals you are bound to have messed up the face of the screw.

The rings themselves are ...

The rings themselves are great...It is the hardware that necessitates such a poor rating. The rings do not have a normal slotted head on the cross screw like the picture depicts. Instead they have a combination Torx/slot. The Torx portion of the head was too small for the supplied T15 Torx key (used for the other screws) and too big for a T10 (which stripped out the screw). The remaining portion was just barely enough to remove the screw destroying the rest of the head in the process.

These are great, a lot smoother than Weaver brand rings. They work well in Weaver bases and on a Virgin Valley TC base I have. They do not fit on the Weigand Single Six base I bought.

Excellent steel construction Weaver-style rings from Burris. Quality fit, finish, and hardware. Everything lines up perfectly and the cross-slot design holds rock-solid. The provided Torx-type screws snug securely with the supplied wrench.I'm using these rings on a B-Square 1-Piece InterLock Weaver-style base and the fit is excellent.Very pleased with these rings.

Good, simple, sturdy steel rings. Not as bulky as Redfields (also good rings)."Zee" is Burris-ese for Weaver (cross-slot) style. You will need to check ring alignment, maybe lap these rings especially on two piece bases. On one piece bases everything should line up OK. If you need windage adjustment to get on target, you'll need the pricier Burris Signature Zee rings.
