The Straight Eight Night Sight consists of a tritium dot in the front and a slightly smaller tritium dot in the rear which glow in the dark. When aligning this sight picture, put one dot on top of the other dot making an elongated figure eight. This makes for a fast sighting system. Matte.

Sights are great. Super fast aiming with the 'figure 8'; plenty of light through the posts; no draw issues with my holsters. They lost a point because I have other sights that use the Trijicon lamps and when comparing the 2 this set is noticeably not as bright (even though 2yrs newer). Not really an issue now but I wonder about 5 yrs or so down the road (and that really isn't Heinie's fault). I would highly recommend these sights for Pd/cc

Glad I bought them before they became backordered, but these sights are amazing. Completely changed my accuracy level. At 25 yards I barely was able to hit paper on an IDPA target, now I am getting 5 inch groupings at that distance. Getting closer to 10 yards or less I'm key holing shots on top of each other. I highly recommend these sights. Plus Midway shipped them quick so I was able to install them the same week before hitting the range and they're steel unlike the Glock sights.

Outstanding product! Well made, very easy target aquisition. Much easier to line up 2 dots than 3 in the dark. Plan on putting these on a custom built glock 20 SF long Slide.

I don't know if the factory sights were just really bad, or if these sights are really good, but I can finally shoot my Glock straight. The quality feels good, and the sight picture works great for my eyes. Best money I've spent in a long time!

I use these on my Glock 19 and I love them. Very fast to acquire, very bright in the dark. The front sight isn't too thick so it makes for a nice sight picture. For comparison sake, I use a very popular competition brand u notch plain black rear and a brass bead front on my glock 26, but I prefer the heinie sights to the others. I've tried most every sighting solution out there and the heinie sights are by far my favorite.

These sights are fantastic! I have a pair on my 23 and a pair of Heinie ledge straight 8's on my 30. I think the 3 dot configuration on most sights clutters my view. They work great and look great, what more can you ask for?

Good tall and crisp post and rear slot - daylight view is a big improvement over stock Glock sights, these are my first tritium - and they do glow in total darkness. Installation was no more difficult than expected for a front and rear sight change on Glock - rear sight was tight to drift in, so have confidence that it will not move unexpectedly... For those interested - these taller sights still cleared my Fobus paddle rig.

Great sight picture! I have Trijicon sights on a Glock 26 that I don't carry much anymore, and there's almost no light between the front sight and the sides of the notch. The two stacked dots help prevent horizontal stringing, and lining up the tops of the sights is easy. Rear sight fits TIGHT, and there's a set screw too, so it isn't going anywhere.Tritium lamps are made by Trijicon. The front lamp is larger and brighter than the rear for quick sighting.I really like these sights. I will be buying more sets for other carry and competition pistols.

Excellent sight, I have them on all my Glocks. In daylight they present a clean sight picture like Bomars, which are conducive to accurate shooting. In low light the two tritium dots work well, the front dot is brighter and larger than the rear. Installation is pretty easy, you can use a sight pusher for the rear, but I just pound them in using a non-marring punch. You'll need a thin-walled nut driver and a little thread locker for the front.

The sights made my Glock 19C incredibly accurate! The factory sights were too hard to line up and did not work at all in the dark. I was beginning to think that I just couldn't shoot a pistol accurately. Now I shoot rabbits with it on a daily basis. The Heinie sights are clear, quick to line up, and very visible in the dark.
