Product Information

This plastic vise block allows an AR-15 rifle to be securely clamped into a vise without fear of doing damage to the gun's finish or structural integrity. Inserts into the rifle's magazine well, and is resistant to corrosion, oils, solvents and rot.

Please Note: This vise block is designed for general cleaning and maintenance only. Not for high stress gunsmithing tasks i.e. changing barrels.

Material is highly resistant to rot, fading and all chemicals including gun solvents and cleaners

This block slides into the magazine well and may then be clamped in a vise

Fits snug on the Armalite ...

Fits snug on the Armalite and a little looser on my Bushmaster and DPMS lowers. It's an inexpensive plastic block that works effectively and has indents to hold it securely in the vise.

This block works great in my Stag Arms lower, however in my DPMS lower it was a really tight fit. I had a lot of difficulty getting it out of my magwell when I was done. This product may require some material be removed if that be the case.

This thing is a must have if you've got a bench vise where you work on your guns. It's got a "ridge" that allows the vise to really bite down on to it so it doesn't slide around in the vise jaws. The magazine well in your AR will then slide down over this and snap in tight, allowing you to work on your rifle in a steady position. Great product!

This is one of the greatest items you can have being an AR15 owner. I use this for cleaning, assembling, and installation of accessories. The plastic is very strong, the fitment is tight, no play by the rifle while locked onto this. For this price, you can't beat this particular vise block.

I decided to take a chance on this low-cost vise block, since the prices for similar blocks seem a little unrealistic. I mean, its a chunk of plastic milled to resemble a box mag, right?Well, I'm not disappointed. I can't imagine a vise block made much better. The milling appears to be first class, and the fit in the AR-15 mag well is snug, as you would want it, but not so snug as to be difficult to insert or remove. The block latches firmly in place, with almost no wiggle or play. I'd have to say the fit is nearly perfect.If I had one very minor quibble, it would be that the composite material is very smooth and nearly frictionless, so that jaw covers are a must for the vise. Since I rarely use my vise without covers anyway, it hasn't been an issue for me.All in all, I'm very pleased with this product. It's perfectly suited for its intended purpose, the quality is excellent, and the price is right.
