Tried this in my son's ...

Tried this in my son's new Ruger 77 Hawkeye, it chronographed at 2700 fps 10 feet from the muzzle. Decently accurate, at around an inch and a quarter for 3 shots at 100 yards. Probably will stay with the Fusion for hunting, but will try to take a coyote or 2 with this, although I am sure it would be fine for deer.

I purchased this ...

I purchased this inexpensive ammunition for breaking in a barrel and sighting the scope. I was surprised with the accuracy: 5 shot group @ 100 yards all touching, 0.7" outside diameter. That said, I'm not going to use it for moose! It's a Federal product, with a "mystery bullet", but no doubt it would be fine for whitetails.

I finally got a chance to ...

I finally got a chance to try this round on deer and can say that the bullet expands well and is not too tough for smallish deer. One smaller doe shot about 130yds in the spine blew a baseball sized hole through her spine completely separating it. Shot a smaller buck at about 135yds angling through the chest right at dusk. Left an easy to follow blood trail. Found the deer 10-yds from where I shot him. Pencil sized entrance hole, golf ball sized exit wound. Federal offers several premium choices in .338 Federal but I'm glad they also offer this accurate, deadly and affordable option.

Surprisingly accurate out ...

Surprisingly accurate out of my brand new AR-10T. I shot 40 rounds of this ammo with no malfunctions and averaged 3 shot group size's of .75 or less. Very impressive, especially at the cost...

These shoot great in my new Sako 85! Easily a 1/2 MOA ammo in my rifle. First trip to the range shot several 3-shot groups that went 7/16" at 100yds.
