I replaced my hammer strut along with the hammer strut pin when I replaced my hammer in my Taurus PT1911 with a Cylinder & Slide Tactical II three-piece hammer set.The hammer strut pin on the PT1911 requires much hammering and pounding to remove. IF you can get it out, you've probably destroyed your hammer strut and/or pin. This was a great, affordable replacement that required no fitting.

Good part, just as you would expect from Wilson Combat. Dropped right into my Taurus PT1911 without modification using the Wilson value speed hammer and Wilson factory strut pin.
