The Montana X-Treme Heavy Duty Bore Brush offers superior quality at an affordable price. These brushes are made with very stiff, heavy duty bristles and a solid brass core to assure your firearms will get a superior cleaning with minimal effort. The stiff bristles resist ammonia and oil-based cleaners. All brushes are 8-32 male thread except 17 caliber. The 17 caliber brush is 5-40 male thread.

I converted to nylon brushes. I am impressed as to how good they hold up! I have cleaned several times with them and they hold up better than by metal brushes ever did. Hold up to the strong solvents: Kano Kroil, Montana X-Treme, Hoppe's #9, Sweets 7.62, and Butch's Bore Shine - used them all.

I purchased 6 of these for my AK47, 1911, .223, .308 and 6.5CM. They are made out of very tough nylon. I believe they do a better job than the brass brushes because brass brushes when pushed or pulled in the barrel, they seem to NOT retain it's rigidity. The nylon brushes stays upright and I can tell it's cleaning the barrel right because as I push them in the barrel it tends to spin with the rifleing, unlike other brushes. I also use these to clean the case mouth of my brass after I deburr the cases. I've used them atleast 1100x and brass made brushes gets beat up, but the nylon brushes are still intact. I highly recommend these product to anyone! Buy one, you won't regret it.

These are great! All I knew was the bronze brush. I had to use a 338 brush in a 30 caliber to get any scrubbing life. The stiffness of the nylon and diameter are great. Wish I would have found these years ago. AND they arrived 3 days after ordering. Way to go MIDWAY!

Stiff bristles, heavy duty design well built. Not sure why anyone would continue using brass brushes after trying these, especially those kits that seem to be everywhere. These are high quality compared to much of the junk that is available at the "Mart" stores.

I agree, these are great brushes for use with the Montana Xtreme solvents which will destroy a regular bronze brush. Makes sense as the Mt Xtreme solvents are designed to remove copper. I am a converted nylon brush guy after using these.
