The Leupold DeltaPoint Reflex Red Dot Sight is an extremely versatile reflex sight. It is ideal for tactical applications, hunting, home defense or competitive shooting and can be used on handguns, shotguns or rifles. Features of the DeltaPoint include Aspheric Lens Technology that increases the usable field of view, motion activated illumination, and automatic brightness sensor, and a lightweight magnesium housing. Included with the Deltapoint are a CR2032 3V battery and a protective cover.

The red dot completely ...

The red dot completely failed on the first trip to the range. The sight was returned to Leupold in February. Leupold customer service told me they didn't have the parts to repair it so they would send a replacement. As of Apr 21st, I still haven't received a replacement. Very disappointed with Leupold.

I bought one of these early March 2011. First thing I noticed the red dot had a comet tail to the lower right. After mounting and using it outside I noticed a starburst effect all around the target bullseye. Needless to say the product is near useless. Am trying to contact Leupold about the problems. One star!!

I mounted this sight at a forty-five degree angle next to my Leupold Mark AR on my dpms flattop on a Warne RAMP mount. This reflex sight has got to be the best of it's type on the market today. Leave it to Leupold! It is very solid, sturdy and clearly well built. The red dot is very very clear in bright light as well as low light which is nice. It kept absolute zero at 100 yards and the adjustment screws lock down to keep them from moving. I don't know if this was necessary, but seems to work. I simply zeroed the red dot into the ten ring with the scope cross hairs already dead on and BAM it was done. Lock down the adjustment screws and I was ready to rock and roll. Very cool. Don't hesitiate to purchase this Deltapoint reflex sight.

This appears to be a great little sight I put on my brush gun...a Remington 7600. Extremely fast on the target, with a perfect red dot with no starburst effect. The DeltaPoint feels very well built. Time will tell on the battery life, but it reportedly flashes for a day or so before dying. It is always on...a good thing for hunting...and goes dormant with its cover put on or left motionless for a few minutes. The sight comes back on when it is moved....it should be a perfect little setup for the deer swamps of Maine!
