Ballistic Silvertip Hunting Bullets are designed to provide stellar performance on medium game like antelope, deer and sheep; while Ballistic Silvertip Varmint Bullets are perfect for long range varmint hunting. All bullets feature a polycarbonate tip and Lubalox coating. This special coating reduces fouling and promotes longer barrel life.

I loaded 50 of these for friends and myself for the 2012 deer season. although only one deer was taken (lack of deer) there was a small entry and small exit wounds, but vitals were shreded! loaded with 19.5 gns accurate 2203 powder and CCI primers. will use nothing other than this bullet for my 30/30

I bought some of these last year and loaded them up for my 30-30. Then I decided to try them in my 30-06 and they loaded through the cycle with ease. I haven't had the chance to take a deer with em yet,but I can only imagine what the effects will be. I will be buying more cause I have had exceptional performance from this round in both my 30-30 and 30-06.

Bought a savage model 340 just like my first deer rifle loaded these bullets with IMR 4350 went to range shot at 50 yds and had all four shots touching with open sights I love them & ready for deer season.

I use this in both my 30-30 "single shot" and my 308 Winchester 70. Very true tight patterns and great stopping power on Deer.The best!

To Hill Country deer with this bullet @ 125yds broadside almost fully penetrated each time. Retrieved partially fragmented bullet from ribs. Both were instant kills with typical ballistic tip performance. Honestly a far superior round than what Hornady loads and is only rivaled by my favorite 125gr HP and 130gr SP.Finally these loads are available for reload. I have been a fan of the Winchester Supreme .30-30 for a while and love it compared the Hornady.
