I bought this along with an extra 3-hole turret for the Pro 1000. Now I can leave my 38/357 dies set up in one, and have my .45 dies set up in the other. I know the Pro 1000 looks intimidating to take apart, but in reality, I can change out shellplates and turrets (and clean the entire press) in less time than it takes to adjust a new die set- just takes doing it a few times to get used to it. Very convenient!!

I have never been dissatisfied with Lee products and this shell plate is another example of great products for a good price. I bought the #2 shell plate not only for the 45 ACP but to try my hand at progressive rifle loading as well.
